The evening will include a fabulous barbecue dinner by Lombardi’s Catering, dessert by Screamin' Mimi's, silent and live auctions, live music by Court N' Disaster, local craft beer, wine, and youth project displays. We will also be presenting awards to our Shining Star Honoree, Joe Cox of Coggins Fence & Supply, Inc., and our 4-H Alumni Honoree, Cheryl LaFranchi. The Shining Star award given by the Youth Ag & Leadership Foundation recognizes a person who has made significant contributions to the foundation and the county's youth programs. The 4-H Alumni award honors a former 4-H Club member who continues to uphold the values of leadership, citizenship and community service that are the hallmarks of the 4-H program.

4-H Alumni Recognition Award
Cheryl LaFranchi
Cheryl LaFranchi, a Sonoma County cattle rancher who is a legend in her own time for her grit and determination to preserve a way-of-life on family land, is the recipient of the 2026 4-H Alumni Recognition Award.
​
LaFranchi, who is 64, was an award-winning member of the Bennett Valley
4-H Club in the 1970’s. Her projects were Ayrshire dairy cattle and Angus beef cattle, which led to her storied career in cattle ranching.
​
The 4-H Alumni Award, presented by the Youth Ag & Leadership Foundation of Sonoma County, honors a former 4-H Club member who upholds the values of leadership, citizenship and community service, which are the hallmarks of the 4-H program. LaFranchi and her many achievements will be celebrated at the Foundation’s annual BBQ on August 29th at Richard’s Grove and Saralee’s Vineyard in Windsor.

Full Service Table for 10 people, preferred seating, premier wines, table recognition, recognition in the printed event program, placement of company banner at the event, recognition during the event program by the MC and recognition on our social media platforms before and after the event.​
Diamond Star Table - $1500
Full Service Table for 10 people, two bottles of RRV wine, name recognition on table.​​
Platinum Table - $800
Regular Service Table for 8 people, two bottles of wine, name recognition on table.​

Every year, our community comes together at this wonderful event to celebrate and support the Youth Program in Sonoma County. It takes a lot of hard work and generosity from a number of individuals and clubs to make this a successful fundraising event. Youth and adult volunteers are invited to participate at this event and help out with various tasks.
