Please join us for a beautiful evening celebrating and supporting youth agriculture in Sonoma County!
The evening will include a fabulous barbecue dinner by Lombardi's Catering and dessert by Screamin' Mimi's, Silent Auction, Live Auction, Live Music by Court 'n' Disaster , local beer & wine, and 4-H project displays. This year we are honoring John Breazeale, Breazeale's Family Ravioli as our 2024 Shining Star Award recipient and Sam McMillan as our 2024 4-H Alumni Recognition Award recipient.
Sam McMillan, a former member of Sonoma County’s 4-H and FFA programs who was inspired by those organizations and his family for a lifetime of service to the community he loves, is the recipient of the 2024 Youth Ag & Leadership’s Alumni Recognition Award.

The annual award, given by the Youth Ag & Leadership Foundation of Sonoma County, honors a former member of the 4-H or FFA who continues to uphold the values of leadership, citizenship, and community service that are the hallmarks of those organizations. Sam, who is 78, fits that profile on all counts. For decades he has been a community leader and active volunteer not only for 4-H and FFA but Rotary Club, the Men’s Garden Club, the Sonoma County Fair, and more. He has donated his time and talents to “make the best better” in the 4-H and FFA traditions.

John Breazeale, a Santa Rosa chef and businessman known as “Johnny B” to family and friends, is one of the most ardent and enthusiastic supporters of the Youth Ag & Leadership Foundation of Sonoma County, donating his time, talents and resources to advance youth in 4-H and FFA.
​
Johnny B, who is 57, is the owner and chef of Breazeale’s Family Ravioli and catering, a homegrown business inspired by the fine cooking in his Italian family and Sonoma County’s agricultural bounty. He said the business fulfills his love for family, friends and food in the community he loves.

In recognition of Johnny B’s dedication and generosity, the Youth Ag & Leadership Foundation has named him the recipient of the 2024 Shining Star Award. The award is given annually to an individual or business that has made significant contributions in advancing the foundation’s work in developing the next generation of community and agricultural leaders.

Youth/Adult Volunteers Needed
Every year, our community comes together at this wonderful event to celebrate and support the Youth Program in Sonoma County. It takes a lot of hard work and generosity from a number of individuals and clubs to make this a successful fundraising event.
